Short-eared Owl Portrait

Short-eared with transmitter This is a terrible photo but it was my only chance with the tagged bird. I came upon it without being ready and then had to shoot into the sun. Camera had lots of trouble focusing. I only include it to show what they look like when they are equipped with a tracking device.
